MYRIAD, c'est une résidence-masterclass au cœur d'un big-band complet. Myriad place de jeunes musicien.nes en fin de cursus d’études ou en début de carrière dans les conditions d’un travail de création d'un répertoire exigeant. Cette formation encadrée par des musiciens phares du Gros Cube d'Alban Darche inclut du travail en tutti et en sections, un enregistrement, une restitution, une captation et des interventions sur différents aspects du métier de musicien. La session 2026 sera exceptionnelle, elle aura intégralement lieu en studio d’enregistrement et aboutira à l’édition d’un album du commerce, à paraitre en 2027 sur le label Yolkrecords. Les stagiaires seront rémunérés pour la séance d’enregistrement.

MYRIAD is a residency-masterclass within a full big band. Myriad places young musicians, either at the end of their studies or at the beginning of their careers, in the environment of creating a demanding repertoire. This training, led by prominent musicians from Alban Darche's Gros Cube, includes work with the full ensemble and in sections, a recording, a performance, a video recording, and workshops on various aspects of the musician's craft. The 2026 session will be exceptional; it will take place entirely in a recording studio and will culminate in the release of a commercial album, to be published in 2027 on the Yolkrecords label. Trainees will be paid for their recording sessions.
